What to do?

At the top of the box there is a hole. Look through it inside - what is
the color of the inner wall of the box?

What happens?

When you look through the hole at the top of the box, you see black
color. However, when you open the box, you see white inner walls.

Interesting fact

It is believed that the first organisms with vision were trilobites - one
of the earliest known groups of arthropods. They have a special
significance in the study of Paleozoic fauna, as well as in various
geological and paleontological studies.

History

The Greek philosopher Empedocles (the V century BC) believed
that that human eye is made up of four basic elements - fire, air,
earth and water. He claimed that we see the world in the light
because the fire in our eyes interacts with the light source (e.g. sun
rays).
